Can I Save You?
If I had a nickel for every time I wanted to save a lost soul, I’d be rich. I know what you’re thinking, define LOST. Everyone is lost right? We are all here on this precious earth just trying to figure out our way, our purpose. Okay, so that’s true. We could all use saving, but we need to admit, some more than others. It’s borderline torturous when you see a loved one continuously making the wrong moves and continuously making the same mistakes. But I guess that’s the mark of emotional intelligence. I guess that’s the realization of life. The only person who can save yourself, is YOU.
Rock bottom is the foundation in which I rebuilt my life. I, me. I REBUILT MY LIFE. Why? Because I needed to. What was happening in my life, was not working for me. Once that realization occurs, there is really nothing anyone can do about it, but watch the lost person, just as if you are watching a car crash before your very eyes. With all that being said, the truth is, no one is beyond help. NO ONE. Everyone is worthy of real love and real help. It is unfortunately something we tend to forget, especially if the lost individual has inflicted pain on us. When this happens to me, I simply try to remember that any pain inflicted is reflection of how that person feels s inside. So please, oh please, DON’T TAKE IT PERSONALLY. Lost soul, I hope you have the courage and strength to save yourself one day. I hope you take the time to work on becoming a better person. I hope you take every opportunity you can to be a better person. But that’s the ironic thing. I HOPE. I guess I have to let go now.
